Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? How does stress stay in our body?

When we experience stress our body automatically goes into what’s called Fight/Flight, which is the way we protect ourselves and have done since the dawn of time.  We release a hormone called Adrenaline and this helps us to ‘survive’ the stress. We are geared to stay and fight or run from it (flight).  The reality is that because of the way society is these days, we experience a large amount of stress daily and then we stay in a hyper adrenalised state and although we may calm down, its much harder for our stress levels to actually fully calm down.  The level of ‘normal’ calm has shifted.  Therefore unless we are doing daily practise of meditation, yoga or having regular Kinesiology balances, or something of that nature, we never fully release our stress and calm completely.

What happens is stress is built up over time?

When our stress levels go up and then remain at a high level, we are literally living off adrenaline, rather than natural energy.  This takes wear and tear on the immune system of the body and may lead to symptoms such as memory loss, headaches, migraines, muscular aches and pains, digestive or sleep issues; or even illnesses such as adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue, fybromyalgia, auto immune diseases, even cancers.  Long term stress is detrimental to our wellbeing.

What can kinesiology do to help with stress and relaxation?

Having Kinesiology sessions to identify and clear stress that we are holding onto subconsciously or consciously – from childhood right through to the present is extremely beneficial so we can relax, have better wellbeing, more energy, better sleep, and more happiness in general.  Kinesiology can release the stress held in your body and reset your energy system to enhance your overall health and wellbeing.
