Kinesiology tools and techniques
Because of the very holistic nature of Kinesiology, there are a number of gentle and effective tools and techniques used in sessions. Some of these include:
Muscle testing – basically this is how kinesiologists get information from your body. Muscle testing is the biofeedback mechanism between the brain and the muscles, its like an electrical circuit. Muscle testing gives accurate and immediate information about the stress that is being held in the body. The muscles relate to various organs and meridians, and when gentle pressure is applied to specific muscles, whether they ‘unlock’ or hold strong is an indication of stress. Once that stress is released, or ‘balanced’, then the muscle will hold strong, or ‘lock’, indicating that the specific issue that was being tested has now been balanced.
Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques – acupressure and meridian work to release stress held in the body’s energy system; working with the 5 Elements of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and the emotions associated with the 5 Elements.
Counselling and emotional work – for adults and children/teens on a range of issues
Nutrition and Herbs – testing food intolerances, vitamin and herbal supplements specifically for you – to better your overall health, wellbeing and vitality
Brain Integration – helping reconnect neural pathways in the brain for improved learning, disconnecting from fight/flight response and having more control over stressful situations, understanding subconscious triggers and belief systems that limit you from reaching your full potential.
Flower Essences – energy based remedies that clear energy blocks and raise the body’s system to a more vibrant and healthy level. Assist with emotional issues such as fear and anxiety, stress, depression, general ‘stuckness’, and more.
